What Are Ombre Eyebrows?
The salon world has borrowed the term 'Ombre' from the french word meaning shaded or shading. An "Ombre" eyebrow by any other name is still an eyebrow, but what makes fabulous eyebrows when using permanent makeup is often a combination of techniques employed by the use of a manual disposable tool. The tool is non-mechanized with a variety of needle sizes and shapes. Some of the tools produce lines and others produce a soft shading of color. I have been using manual hand tools for many years and feel that a combination of techniques may be desirable.
When eyebrow hairs are present, often hair strokes are needed at the very front of the eyebrow and from the arch area to the temporal ends. The powder or shading of the interior portions of the existing eyebrow more define the shape. Eyebrows may be dramatic or very subtle. These techniques also make it possible for men to enhance their eyebrows very naturally.
To achieve the best eyebrows, it is necessary to have a comprehensive consultation with the person who will be doing your procedure and a complete examination of the skin. Many factors include, age, skin, sun damage, and previous tattooing of the eyebrows. Often, in re pigmenting the eyebrows, it will be necessary to address some color correction. Excellent results are more based upon the artistic skill of the technician doing the procedure and good communication with the client about desired results.
At Faces Artistry, I am interested in meeting with you to discuss your personal preferences. I am available by appointment, free of charge for a private consultation.
